Mid Engine Vette Canceled

In what I consider to be some of the more depressing news coming out of Detriot, GM has cancelled plans to produce a mid engine C7 Corvette. Chevy has long been rumored to be developing a mid-engine version of its next-gen vette, but the project has officially been put on the shelf. Even long time GM executive and car guy Bob Lutz supported the project that has mouths of Vette enthusiasts watering. With business as slow as ever, I guess the c7 is a victim of circumstance. Mid Engine cars offer incredible handling and a smooth ride at even the highest of speeds.
